MIXIM Challenge

Every month -in MIXIM website- they post a challenge, a crafty challenge.

and everyone that participate have a chance to win an incredible prize.

this month challenge was about Buttons, i always want to
participate in their challenges, so this time i said to my self "maybe i stop wishing to win and just do something to raise my chance for winning"- wich is of course means that i have to actually make something and participate :D

Thats why i made this "Mumy to be" (of course using some buttons), which i made for my sister, who's goning to have her baby next month, she is having a baby-boy but i thought pink just suit her better :P

now, at least i have a chance to win :D and also i have something nice for my sister :D

More Cards

It's had been a while since i posted something here, i have plenty of stuff that i want to show, and that makes me confuse what to show first :)

So, here we are back to cards, i'm going to show you a group of hand-made cards that i hope u'll like ;)

This one is my 1st hand-made card, actually my sister made this one and i just added few small touches and it turns out great, right?

Ok, this one has been made for my sister's graduation

Sometimes cards can be tricky :) this one called the waterfall card.. I think it's pretty obvious why, you just pull the string and you'll see the magic

Name Chipboard

Hiii...

Well, here is something realy hard to do :) bs surely its a great gift too,, name chipboard is a chalange, specialy when u trying to make it from scrach, it takes a lot of energy and a lot of time too but once you finish it u see that its worth all that :)

it's a simple idea, take the letters and make it as an album or a book...

This one is my friend nickname,, i had made it from special kind of carton that is easy to work with.. once u finish with the letters all u have to do is just decorate it and this is the fun part :D and its all a matter of taste..

Here is how i decorated mine:

see, isn't it nice? u can put anything u want in it, cards, pics, decorating stuff... anything ;)

its worth the time and the energy that have been spent on it, right? and most improtant is the one that feels very special for recieving it ;)

Paper-Bag Album/Book

A paper-bag album or book is realy a very unique and simple thing to do, its mostly made with few paper bags of any size and thats it, u've got yourself an album :D about the technique, all u have to do is to go to youtube and types the three magical words -paper bag album- and a bunch of videos will be fighting for u to see them, and u have many options, u have big albums, mini albums, cards, card's album, etc... and of course u can just take the idea and creat whatever comes to ur mind ;)

I love paper bag albums, they are very simple, and they have one very special feature which is: the pockets.

These pockets are great, first, because they are a built-in pockets so u don't go through the trouble of making them, and second, they are good for few surprises, u can put cards in them or chocolates or anything ;)

This particular Paper-bag album/book, i made it as a gift for my dearest friend "Sukaina", although i didn't finish it completly, as u see, its empty from words :) just because i didn't have mush time not because i didn't have something to say :P anyway, we agreed that she will fill it with her own words :) so we are even, i did the work and she will do the words ;)

Names...

Making decorative names and letters are realy something i love to do, i think each name has it's own uniqueness,, decorating my nick-name was my first project in this speciality (the one in the pictures above), after that there were some requests from some relatives and friends to decorate names for people who are special to them, which i happily agreed to do, other names i did as a gift for people who are special to me... it's not an easy thing to do, it takes a lot of time and patience,, but with each latter i made, i made it with love, and with each one i learned something new, and letter by letter it just got easier and easier, and with each finished project i waited to hear about the reaction of the presentee, because thats what realy counts :)

I realy had a great time making these names even though some of them are for people i don't even know ;)
